Hello. New here. I am having some issues. Three baby chickens turned up in my backyard, and although we believe the people behind our home may have owned them, they have vacated the house and abandoned them. We have been caring for them for well over a month now, and we keep hearing different stories on whether or not the city of Longwood, FL, allows backyard chickens. I looked it up online and the City Of Longwood website said no. But I work locally, and several people have told me that Longwood changed it's policy. Also, the owner of the feed store right up the road from my house (within the city limits) said that Longwood changed it's policy and they now allow chickens. I have not been able to locate any proof to this online. Can anyone local help with this info?
