New chicks (second timer)

Our Roo and pullets are 4 months so why not get more chicks This time I am trying this heat mat thermostat for the heat lamp. I also have a hot plate. Im hoping I don’t have to run down to the commissary building every hour or more to make sure the temperature is not too hot or too cold.

It’s actually working great. I have it set at 93. It turns off at 93.2 and back on at 91.0.

One chick is very lethargic so I’m a little worried. Last time I lost two chicks because the lamp fell on them.
