Where do you live in retrospect to Zeeland Mi? I'm in Florida. I read a thread from a member that ordered from Townline who was from New Mexico. According to the member they arrived in good shape.

I live in Traverse City, Mi about 3 1/2 hrs North of Zeeland. The Feed Store here in town orders from them. I went in there and ordered 5 of (4) different breeds and they did (1) mass order from many people in the area.

They are listed as red sex link. I got 20 on Feb 27th and 5 are laying already. I love, love, love them.

You can get sex links from all hatcheries. The only two hatcheries that have ISA Browns areTownline Hatchery in Zeeland Michigan and the other Randall Burkey Hatchery in Boerne, Texas. They are sometimes called Hubbard ISA Browns.

Here is a members patandchickens page on them.

Mine is soooo friendly, she lets you pick her up and is one of the friendliest. Except for my sweetie speckled sussex...

I called the Hatchery and my chicks shipped yesterday and should be here at 6am. I called the P.O. too and they said they will call me when they arrive which should be around 6 am. Their coop and brooder are ready for them. I will post some pics. I can hardly wait...

Townline's Isa's are laying machines. My girls only take a day off once or twice a month! The only other hen I have close to that is my White rock Daisey. I don't think she has had a day off since Febuary.

This is her second year laying.

BTW: Your coop is nice!

Here are pics of the new babies. I'm so excited. I forgot how small they are. All seemed to arrive healthy and happy and running all around. In the Pics they discovered one of the feeders and waterers. Will take more pics tomorrow. Moved the feeders and waterers into brooder so they will stay cleaner. The chicks found them. I'm leaving the door to the brooder open. The pics aren't the greatest. It's a crappy, light rain, cloudy, damp day, but the chicks are here which brightens it up a lot. I was worried when they didn't arrive this morning as they were traveling from Michigan to Florida and were shipped Monday. I checked with the Post office this morning and they told me no chicks came in and that they usually arrive around 6 am so they probably wouldn't be in until tomorrow morning.

I got a call around 3pm asking me if I was expecting chicks. I went right down to the post office and got them. I was ready but I wasn't, but they are snug now.
