New Chicks Yeah!!

I just got this little girl (

) yesterday. They said she was 4-5 weeks old. A friend of mine who is a breeder got her as an extra egg in her carton to hatch.

The pullet is my chicken buddies and the little roo is all mine

They are 7-8 weeks.

That first chick has very little feathering. Maybe bc its frizzled? I thought it was 3ish weeks... They are gorgeous

I have nearly 5 week old frizzles in my brooder right now, one white, one red, and one black, and of the three, the white has what looks like the least amount of feathers, but I think it's cause the feathers just seem to turn up more on the white than on the other two. Maybe it's a white frizzle thing? Any which way, they are as cute as can be. I love my frizzles, and yours are such cuties too!

I'm a little worried about the white one. When I bought her Saturday I didn't think to ask how old she was but I assumed 2-3 weeks. I emailed the lady I got her from Sunday and that's when I found Out how old she was. She has no other info on the chick as she bought her as an egg. I've been trying to find pictures of a 4 week old frizzle Cochin to compare her with. I'm hoping she is just a frizzle and not a frazzle as I heard Frazzles can lose all their feathers. We have cold winters here and I don't think a bald chicken would make it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
