new chicks

My broody hen just hatched three chicks. They are maybe a day or two old and are out running around with mama and the rest of the flock. It's only like 50° during the last couple of days and like 30° at night. My question is should I be worried about them getting too cold? Mama seems to be taking care of them.....

The mom hen will provide everything the chicks need. If the chicks are cold, they will seek refuge right under the hen.

Are they acting cold?

Idk....I guess they are okay.... never hatched any chicks before..... probably just worried about them.

Mama knows how to do this - she can judge the temperature, etc. Relax and enjoy your new babies.
