I'm glad it helped, make sure you have internal thermometer & humidity gauge inside so you can get real readings as to temp digital reading is off . If you do that it should be fine. Good luck.

I have 4 of each lol. I just started another 31 eggs today. But when I calibrate the incubator its crazy what I have to put my settings on. B

ut putting that styrofoam on the bottom helped tremendously

Same here , yours looks like the inside of mine with all thermometers & gauges!!! Had to set mine @ 38.7 to get inside readings of 99.5 !!

I have this incubator, and I am on day 14. This is my first hatch. The incubator temp and humidity were way off! However, it does hold steady, so if you buy a good thermometer/hydrometer to use with it, it works well. So far my eggs look good. The egg turner works less efficiently, the more eggs you put in it (it starts to bend from the weight). I only have 12 eggs, so I spread them out after I noticed this. I am not sure how it would work completely full.

Mine only goes up to 38.0. So I set on 38.0 my AL @15 my AH @ 15.0 my AS@ 01 my CA@ -0.6 my HS@ 50.0 and my LS@ 25.0 For holding 40 eggs (9 bantams 31 Large) now with it set like that I am keeping a 99 at mid eggs 100.2 right above eggs and 96 at the top by the fan. It's been 99percent consistent for the last 12hrs. Fingers crossed we get a good hatch!!!!

Well I just put 40eggs in today and it's really full lol. No bending in mine. This is only the 2nd time I've used it so that could be why. I lost all my last ones because after calibrating it I thought it would work right it was way off and didn't know tell day 19 and only 2 out of the 12 I started with UGH. The last two died on day 25. I opened them up and they were fully developed and the one even internal pip but gave up

but I definitely learned a lot from last time.

Awwwie thanks!!! They will be here in about 20 days or so. I just started today about 2:30pm and added a few more tonight around 11:30pm

So I checked on my incubator a little bit ago and noticed bending in it.

I am thinking it has to do with the heat and weight. When I first put my eggs in them there wasn't bending. Hmmm

I bought one today at a poultry swap and am thinking of using it to dry out the ducklings before they go into the brooder.
Later on, I'll do a full hatch in it.
What exactly is bending, please?
