[Poodle Lucy]

Hi! I'm a first-time flock mother from rural PA. I currently have 20 various breed pullets and 2 cockerels from Cackle Hatchery. They turn 18wo tomorrow and I adore them. I try to keep them entertained with new and different things everyday. No eggs yet but every day is an adventure. I installed a xylophone for them yesterday and tricked them into playing it by sticking bits of cheese on with peanut butter - so funny! A pic is attached. I've been lurking here since before the chicks arrived and look forward to learning more! Thanks for letting me join.

Welcome. I love the picture of your chickens, they look like they are having so much fun. Good job. BTW: one of my favorite hen's name is Lucy. She is a speckled sussex and is definitely a house chicken as seen in my profile picture of her with my grandson
