Beautiful dark egg! Where did you get your Black Copper Maran from? I was thinking of ordering some from Murray McMurray but I’m not sure how dark they will be. I read that if I wanted the really dark eggs, I would need to obtain the chicks from a breeder and not a hatchery. Just wondering what others have experienced.

I got two from a farm store in Loveland, CO. Not sure where they get their chicks.
