This is where the new pen will be. Behind barn will be 10 x 30 run then net to that will be a 20x20 pen with a future spot of 30x 40. When funds are available. Spent to much on wire yesterday. I guess electric bill might be a little late. Oh and now I need birds to fill them.

With the sizes you mentioned I don't doubt for a minute you spent too much on wire yesterday...YIKES!! You're really going to have a great setup when it's all said and done...good luck!!

100' of 2"x4" welded wire 60" high is now $82 a roll here.

I bought it in rolls of 48x50 because I have a long run of chain link that is in place that I'm building on I paid 36 a roll.

I use a 36" tall sight barrier across the bottom of the pens,then 5' of wire,total of 8' tall runs. I use 10' long 4x4 square posts sakreted in 24",leaving 8' above ground for sight barrier and fence to be attached to. Here is my aviary thread,
