New coop and run are getting close! Almost ready for chickens!

My daughter and I have been working hard on this project, we have 8 chicks growing quickly. We are getting close. Suggestions, anyone?

You're going to want more roost bars. Other than that it looks great!

my roost is 6 foot and 8 birds fit...but snug...but they seem happy with it.

I have 5 chicks so will need to add additional roosting

looks great, do her have predators in the neighborhood like raccoons? The chicken wire windows are not going to stop them. Consider upgrading to hardware cloth. Also get some way to lock the nesting box hatches and doors. Good luck

Right now it is plywood, I will cut a piece cheap linoleum type flooring, if I can find one. Or another piece of plywood that I can easily slide in and out of the coop and/ or replace. Good luck!

Darn, we dont get too many raccoons, but they stop by occasionally. They killed my last flock. I have enough hardware cloth for one of the windows, the other will stay closed for now. Thanks!
Oh, and yes, nesting box will be locked down!

Got the stronger fencing in the window, But I don’t have enough for the other window. Would two layers of chicken wire be effective against raccoons?

Better than nothing temporarily. I'd replace it once you can get more hardware cloth, or welded wire with small openings (no larger than 1/2")
