New coop and wood storage

My intermittent rodent problem is related to a compost pile that is in the chicken yard that has a bunch of branches and stuff like that. Every once in a while, we turn the compost and go hunting the rodents... Also, black widow spiders like to live in undisturbed wood piles.

It's a very cute coop and just wouldn't like to see pests take up harborage next to pampered chickens! :love

Could plant some flowers along that side or even expand the run, but I see you have already put a lot of work into the security for the run!
The run is quite large, have planted herbs along the outer perimeter. Once the trim is finished it will block coons etc. from entering. I’m in the process of staining the wood on fencing then the heavy netting goes up over the run. The electronic door opens and closed on a timer and the door locks in place. They should be as safe as humanly possible. 🤞🏻
