New coop build

Awesome build! I’m starting to build my first chicken coop. I’m going with a 8x8 base as well. My walls will be 7’ tall. The run will be 8’ wide by about 24’ long and 7’ tall.

Can you take some close ups of your nesting boxes? I’m still unsure how I’m going to build mine.

Congrats on the new build. My progress has been held up by other projects and lots and lots of rain. I took picks the other day but forgot to post so here's the latest

the chicken boxes were a pain in the ass, was really hard to settle on a design. Finally just went with this outta frustration really lol.

It's looking nice. Too bad you wanted to do attached nesting boxes. In my coop, I have a moveable four-hole nesting box. It came second hand and I've never had to fret over nesting boxes once. When I move the flock into a new coop, the nesting boxes goes with them.

I needed the as much room as possible, o have 9 ready to go in and another 6 coming in July

Well almost done finally. That last run of rain really set me back. Not just gotta paint, put up sum sheeting to make it look nicer, put mesh over the vents and put sum 2x4 up to roost. Gotta run sum electric to it for my exhaust fan too lol almost forgot.

It's looking really good, nesting boxes included. Do you know what color you're painting it yet?

Grey, trimmed in white so it will match my house

Inside painted outside almost done. Need one more piece of wood paneling and trim it out and paint the trim white then im done.
