New coop build

I never found a single answer. It varied from person to person
Everyone has an opinion......
Plus different climates can dictate different space requirements.
The 4/10 is the most common, but most of us have found that is a bare minimum.
More space is always better, especially when doing an integration.
 
Sorry everyone, been busy with the duck run and my garden plus staining and sealing my porch i forgot to update.

still need to put a door up and put hardware cloth around the bottom of the coop to give them access to underneath the coop. And put the bottom and top boards up around the run but almost done.

That looks very good! The pullets look like they like it too.
 
Installed this between my chicken and duck coop to keep an eye on them, it has motion sensors so any activity around the coops i get an alert on my phone. Also I can check on them no matter where im at.View attachment 3574255plus its solar-powered
Nice! Have you spotted any predators with it yet?
