Wow! What a nice set up. I don't know if I'm more jealous of the coop or the fact that you live in Northern California! I want both things!! My husband is looking in the San Jose area for a job, so maybe.......I'm already trying to figure out if I can get a rented U-Haul full of coop/chickens through the California/Oregon border. Usually they just ask about fruit!

Anyhoo, Love how big and clean everything looks. Those are some lucky animals!

Nope they are all pure Icelandics. Some have crests, some don't. Some have upright combs, some peacombs, some have a unique comb type all their own. They are the "box of chocolate" birds. You never know what you are going to get!

So, your name is Mary Gump ?
They are very pretty and different.
I do love your set-up. Our feed mill folks told me they have people come in all of the time looking for eggs. When I start getting overrun, I will have to start taking them down again. A neighbor takes them to the local farmer's market too, but I don't have time to go and sit at the farmer's market all day to sell eggs. We live on a decent road for selling but neither my husband or I want just whoever driving in our yard at all hours of the day. There is that darned biosecurity thing to think about too.

That is the cleanest most organized and well thought out chicken coop I've ever seen! Your veiw is pretty incredible too. Loved the pic of your donkey in the coop. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I've checked your BYC page too, and I've enjoyed looking and dreaming but aside from that I think you are very funny
