New Coop/Mini-Barn Build using primarily reclaimed materials

Haha, yeah... I never thought I'd ever move to TX, but when you're offered a job for 4x what you were making previously, it is really hard to say 'no'.

:) Tennessee sounds nice though...

Love the coop by the way!
Yes-- that would be a very BIG incentive to move! THANKS-- Can't wait to post more pictures of the coop in progress

Our Baby Girls-- 3 Rhode Island Reds and 3 Silver Laced Wyandottes-- 1 day old! Picked them up at the hatchery yesterday right after the hatch! They are all doing wonderfully! Here are some pictures...

Floor joists have been in for days and the floor boards have been power washed for the decking as soon as the weather breaks a little here in Northwest Ohio.

Meanwhile-- we are really enjoying our baby girls in the house that we picked up yesterday right after they hatched directly at the hatchery!!!!

They are fun to watch aren't they? :p Wasted a lot of minutes watching ours do their "chickin' thing".

Oh My Goodness!!!!! Yes they are so fun to watch! It's a wonder I accomplish ANYTHING else in the day with them here in the house! I watch them and hold them several times a day! They all already seem to have different personalities coming out in them! We definitely bought them to be "part of the family"-- we only have little boys so it's nice to have some little girl "chicks" around! :O)

There are many more photos in my profile of the build...I just didn't want to put so many on this thread! We were back to the barn this week collecting more siding! The siding has to be power washed yet and I am planning just a clear coat for it! Above the run I am going to paint a barn quilt.... I am leaning towards the Ohio Star pattern...
