OOoeee that's one sweet roofline!! Is your husband a carpenter on his day job?

Yes he is! He did a lot of residential building before joining the carpenters union! He rarely builds with wood at work-- most of it is commercial with steel studs and so on and so forth! Still-- he is very talented when it comes to building and working with wood! He would much prefer new lumber but it's a labor of love to me since I wanted it built out of my mom and dads 100 + year old barn. Thanks for the comment! He held up many different pitches and pondered them before we decided on that one! He will be happy to know that spectators approve!

we are finally wrapping up the finishing details with our reclaimed mini-barn! Check out the pics! I need to take interior pictures yet but the girls have been in their new home for several weeks and they LOVE it!
