Very cute little builders you have there. Coop looks good to. Your picture with, I am guessing is you, took me back at bit. That could of been me 2 years ago when my hair was longer. lol. The top of your head looks just like me.

I love the coop the red is always pretty I would be careful with the chicken wire on the top though ratcoons can bite right through it.

Thanks for all the kind words. I cant take credit for all of it my father inlaw had a slow week ( he builds houses) so he helped with the majority of the build. As you can tell in the pics my kids really enjoyed the painting part. I went alittle over budget so I let my wife pick the color out (helped out alittle bit). We just need to find some chickens.

You've done a great job. I always look to see if coops are predator-proof and it looks like you've put a lot of thought into that. I'm sure your chickens (how ever many they will be) will live long and healthy lives in that henhouse.

The chicks are finally here.They are 7 weeks old. I ended up getting 6 hens and 1 roo (I hope). The only problem is the can fit through the 2X4 wire. I am off to the hardware store for smaller wire in the morning.
