That is so pretty!

I'm still trying to get my DH to put a porch light on the front of my coop. I think that is a perfect touch!

Your run is neat too. I can tell you guys really put a lot of time into the whole project. That is a coop to be proud of indeed! Now you should just place that swing facing the run right there on the other side of that tree where the run curves. That would be the perfect place to sit with a nice big glass of iced tea and watch the chickens!

Thank you Lea. Yes, we worked hard on it, especially DH. I have to say he can do almost anything he sets his mind to. I had to keep reminding him it was "just a chicken coop"! But I really love it. I tell him what I have in mind, and he goes to it. I am fortunate in that he loves to hit junk stores and antique shops with me (to an extent!) He has already collected a bunch of old windows and doors to build a greenhouse out of. We have to travel a lot for work, and we try to hit shops along the way if we have time. That is what we need more of...TIME. LOL!

I'm picky....and this is the best looking coop I've seen! I've saved the pics. Excellent job! I'm impressed. It makes me want to build another one.

Do you have a feed storage area inside? Is that what the back portion is?
