Be sure not to create any drafts! Wind should not blow over the roosts. Also, use 2X4s on the wide side up for the perches. If you mount them in joist brackets you will be able to clean or replace them if necessary.

Drafts are fine on summer. Keep windows closed in the winter just.

Updates, we are making progress. We got 3 of the 5 windows in. The vent around the top and a few other small things. Getting excited

Looks great. Only concern is the 24" wide cleanout. I would have suggested making that entire 4' wide wall a cleanout opening. 24" is a pain to squeeze through when trying to reach 6ft into the coop and doesn't give you much room to work around a wheelbarrow or pile of soiled bedding that you'll be removing.

Last thought is good luck with chicken math. It's some funky algebra where x always equals infinity. You might find yourself building a second coop or extending this one.
