New coop

These are pics of my first real chicken coop after day two, minus the metal roof we got on just before dark. It's 6x10 with a 4x6 coop and 6x6 run.

I'm thinking about 5-6 hens, preferrably pullets if I can find some. Think its big enough for 5-6? This is kind of a mixture of 2-3 coops I saw on here. Thanks.

looks really good.
your design is very similar to the one i will be starting very soon.
i am planning a coop area of 4 x 6 and a 6 foot run attached plus with it 2 feet in the air they will have the space under the coop for shade. I intend to cover the coop and run with a slanted roof like your design looks like.
remember 4 square feet per chicken in the coop is the desired size.
I currnelt have 5 chicks.

My roost is going to be level with the window which will also be covered with hardware cloth. Do you think i should put ventilation at the top of the wall with the window, for ventilation in winter ,since the window will probably be too cold to open on cold days because its at roost level?
