Hey that is a nice coop

. very elegant looking. One Question-->How do you get in to clean the fenced area? i might not be seeing it due to the angle of the photo.

Looks great!!! It's an exciting feeling, isn't it!?! And rather than just covering half, if you're able this summer, cover the entire run with a simple slanted roof/sheet metal or something along those lines. Since you guys get snow, you will love not having to shovel out the run every winter...

The coop inside is 8x6, 48 sq ft, the pen is 8x10, 80 sq ft. Just right for my 10 chickens.

To clean the pen; rake, remove, reuse, reapply with fresh. I'm thinking total hose down several times a year and as necessary. This is my first time raising chickens, I have ALL the books.

Any suggestions to do better is appreciated.
