Stick with the paper towels for about a week. Most people do 3-4 days but I think I read 7 was best. Shavings are less work. Best of luck, they are adorable! Take lots of pictures they will grow so fast! It depends on what you want them to be like but if you want them to be friendly hold them as much as you can now. All of them at least once a day. Make a cardboard divider and hold one, put it on the other side then hold another one etc. 3-4 minutes each one at least. I let my 6 year old hold them alone but my 4 year old was a little young, he had help.

Good luck. I have found my first experience much easierthan I anticipated. These little guys are a lot tougher that they look.
