I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share Pictures and Stories of your ducks, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out ;)

Welcome to Backyard Chickens Deborah~! :woot As one duck owner to another if you ever plan on adding more ducks I would suggest getting 5 hens(Female ducks) Per each drake if you want to avoid problems such as over breeding and stress to your birds. I'd check out meyer or Metzer hatchery to buy sexed ducklings for your flock. Oh and for a proper diet some chick grower/finisher with oyster shells provided is a great diet for ducks~
