New duck mom

Hi everyone! I have 2 Swedish ducks that live in my suburban back yard and are my pets. Any advice on keeping them safe during the day would be welcome. I have cover from hawks and they have a great coop at night but I worry about dogs, coyotes, and foxes during the day. Thanks!

Sorry, besides that they are cute, quack and learnt only today, that they flirt I know nothing about ducks. However, the folks on the Duck Forum sure do know their stuff and would be happy to help out.

Welcome to BYC! Glad you've joined us! I realy have no advice for you as I only have a couple muscovy ducks. My roosters seem to warn everyone if Thera any danger and I have 2 geese that would chase any intruder away. Could you add a goose to your little flock?
