I brought 3 Pekin, 2 Rouen, and 2 runner ducks and 10 chicks from tractor supply just about a month ago. They are all just about 6 six week and last night I moved them all to their coop and block off a part for three lamps to keep it some warm for them all. A couple days I noticed that one of Pekins ducklings was bleeding and some of the feather were missing on this wings. So I figured it was best to move them new to their coop and out of brooder thinking they all have out grown it.
While doing a nightly check on them tonight. There was two Pekins duckling with a wing problem but the one is horrible one. I noticed that one of the black runner ducklings had a bunch of feathers around it’s mouth and was going after the duckling and was pecking at the chicks tail feathers
I was wondering if this is just a phase or if I need to do something about the one runner duckling? Any suggestions are welcome, thanks!
