I am new to ducks and have 4 peking ducks that are 4 weeks old. I just finished their pen and will be building onto it when they get a little bigger. Just want to see if it looks ok to everyone. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

This picture is of the pond but I have put a cover over it until the ducks get older or I am home to watch them. It also has a
shower drain in the bottom so it is easy to clean out. The feeder is hanging from the roof about 2 inches from the ground to try to keep them from getting water in it.

This is their house it is 3 ft by 4ft and you can see the little guys on the right side of the picture

. Is that chicken wire? Some predators can reach through that

It is chicken wire. I have some more I was going to double wrap when I get home today.

Double Wrapping should defiantly secure it more. Besides that it looks great

It looks very nice and easy to clean; however, I would advise using hardware cloth instead of the chicken wire. JMO! I'm sure they will be most happy in their enclosure!

It looks fantastic! I would also agree with people who say to use hardware cloth, not chicken wire. Chicken wire is designed to keep chickens in, not predators out.

You've done a great job with the design though. Love the whole setup!

Nice design! i also third(fourth?) the hardware cloth.. unless your locking them in at night.. even still i wouldn't trust chicken wire. The only other thing is the water source... they need to be able to dunk their heads to clean out the nares... As they grow that chicken waterer won't do the job. Really looks good though!
