I guess we're getting closer to the hatch; most of it will go on next week. The ducks are happy, and the drake is a true beach bum. One of the wading pools is outside the enclosure for easier cleaning, and one is inside. He will wait at the gate every morning, check the surroundings, pick her up, take her on a foraging outing, and bring her back to the egg box. I hope the remaining eggs are viable; I don't want to mess with her nest.
