~New Duckling Question~

Ya know, thinking it about it, I actually gauge whether they're ready by their coordination more than whether they're dry. If they're sitting up and walking without trouble, I pull them. But I do stick to the only twice a day rule, to minimize the number of times the incubator opens and closes.

Thank you!

My older one is a MAJOR bully to #2. Is this normal, he's chewing on the others wings, his feet, munching on half cracked eggs.??

I have a Cayuga baby that chews and pulls on everything... including the other babies.

You'd do well to get that little guy out to the brooder before he wreaks too much havoc on the unhatched eggs. Sounds like he's way more coordinated than the poor bleary-eyed babies he's munching on and needs some space and something more interesting to do with his time.
