NEW DUCKLING

I have had several ducks befor but today I am only getting one. It will be staying in my home but what are some tips for getting one duckling. Keeping it warm and stuff like that.

Do you still have your other ducks?
Why are you only getting one?
How old will the duckling be?
What’s your brooder setup/how will you be keeping the duck?
What do you plan on feeding it?

A heat lamp will keep it warm but it will also be lonely, you may want to find a stuffed animal to put in with it to cuddle up to. Also, an unbreakable mirror to keep it company when you cannot.

Some people have also used heating pads for warmth, but ducks don’t need heat for long.

Wouldn't ever try to keep one duck
They get too sad and lonely
The seller I got mine from wouldn't even sell me just one min I had to get two babies and they have to have each other.
