New duckling

Hmmm I am in the same boat as you. Just inherited a single duckling after its flock mates were killed. It's about ten days old and I'm picking up two three-day old ducklings to put with it tonight. I'm putting them together and just seeing how they do. The older duckling has been peeping up a storm with loneliness. With observation, I feel I can make a judgement call about the situation and separate them if necessary. If I can find this thread again, I'll let you know how it goes tonight, but I'm not getting the other two until after 7pm....
