So recently I've had some ducklings hatch (still more hatching) and I'm wondering what colour the first the duckling is in the first pic and the breed of the duckling in the second pic.

Your lil one that looks like Mallard isn’t the eye stripe too wide maybe it is a mule sure is a cutie. I have Muscovy but coloring isn’t something I am good at maybe @learycow can help? The blk and yellow maybe blk pied ? They sure are precious

Based on markings and bills, first and third are muscovy or have muscovy in them.

What breeds do you have? If several breeds together, then there is a chance those are muscovy mules.

Middle ducking doesn't look to have muscovy in it. Based on eye stripe looks to have some rouen or mallard in it (doesn't look like either as pure but looks larger like a rouen) so that one is likely a cross breed also

The first pic and the last are muscovies I’ve bred (I can tell they are muscovies because of how slow they are growing). The second hatched a day or 2 before the first Muscovy duckling, if it was a mallard it should have been earlier. I’m thinking it’s a mule for that reason.

I have 2 different colours of muscovies (black, white). The other breeds of ducks I have are mallards and a few crossbreds. Thing is I kept them in separate pens, unless the eggs were layed on the weekend or something in the Muscovy pen. Or when I let my ducks out in afternoons my Mallard type drakes mated with whatever Muscovy that layed those eggs.

Also I have bred a mule before and still have him. But he stood out a lot as a duckling. He looked like a mallard but he was larger then the other mallard ducklings and his webs had some white (or lighter tone) on them. Sumo grew the same rate as the mallards.

The 2nd duckling does have some lighter bits on it’s legs but not as much.
