New Ducklings

Hey, I decided to get some Pekin ducks to have in my backyard. I got two ducklings from Metzer farms. They were shipped from california to where I live (FL). I got them on Wednesday, they were okay, they were eating and drinking normally. Then on Sunday, i filled up my bathtub with an inch and a half of water and let them play for about 4 minutes and then took them back into their brooder to dry off. That night, my bigger one Gracie Lou Freebush aka fatone sadly passed away. I’m not sure why. I’m getting two new ducklings for my Rosie so she doesn’t get lonely. I was just wondering if there was any specific way I should introduce them. They are only about two weeks apart.

They can get waterloged, that could be how it died.
