new ducks show no interest in pond

Hey, y'all, newbie here. How would you introduce ducks to a pond? My new ducks (6 blue Swedish, 6 buffs all-female fully feathered) show no interest in our pond. They are at the age where I have begun to let them out of the pen to wander about, meet my older established ducks and just do duck things. I have tried to herd them towards our pond but they just refuse to get in. We have a 3-acre freshwater creek fed pond, so there is plenty of room. I eventually want them to free-range like the rest of my flock, but they are hanging tight to their pen. Any suggestions?

Give them time to adapt. Fowl of all breeds hate change and adjust gradually to changes in their environment/flock.
