new ducks

Hi,
I bought 6 ducks from a farm that is not to unlike a battery farm
The birds were in a poor condition - dirty and very stressed - got them to their new pen, large box, clean but small pond, and grass.... fresh water everyday and plenty of food... I also have chickens but have placed a fence between them so they can see each other. Its just under 2 weeks and I'm yet to see an Egg, the owner said they were 11 months old and should lay as normal...
They are using the water and eating and drinking ok so Im assuming its either the freedom they aren't used to or the stress of their move I was just wondering how long they take to settle down? or any tips to help them along?

Keep doing what you are doing. Either the farm was wrong on their age, or the stress has stopped laying, or both. Once they are very settled in and use to their new home and routine they will be ok.

Im pretty sure.... the place is a mass egg producing place - I bought my chickens from there and they have been ok.... just the ducks looked really sorry for themselves and i had the space - from what i can gather it was either someone buy them or they get the bump

They may just need some time to adjust, then. Also, they may be going into a molt cycle.
