It's very pretty! And very typical for new brown egg layers especially, whose "spray paint booths" are still getting up to speed. Coloring will probably even out with time, and even if it doesn't, it doesn't mean that there's a thing wrong with the egg.So I have new egg in my coop tonight I have several chickens still laying there first eggs. I thought this egg had strange pattern just wanted to get others opinion.

Hahaha yes I have one that lays light brown egg with dark specks it’s so pretty! It's very pretty! Some breeds always lay speckled eggs (Welsumer, Barnevelder, etc.)
Hahaha maybe it came from my EE. That was my 6th or 7th chicken to lay an egg and I know for sure 6 of the 10 are laying my EEs and my jersey giant haven’t started laying yetMy EE laid an egg just like that today. Usually it isn’t speckled but I guess today was my lucky day haha. Her eggs are light brown.
When you crack the egg, check the color of the inside of the shell. If it’s white, it’s probably not the EE (but could be.) If it’s blue, it’s the EE.Hahaha maybe it came from my EE.
