Yes, right on the same street, I think. I haven't actually been there yet but was visiting a friend who gets her chicken supplies there, and she passed the info along to me. I'm planning to check them out! I guess they're very knowledgeable about organic gardening, too.

I was JUST in Leominster and decided to look them up. It is on the same street as the HS. Looks like it's someone's house/land that they put the business on. Will have to go back again in the Spring just to see what they have for chicks and also their gardening supplies.

where was this post last week? I just ordered 4 easter eggers from mypetchicken.
My son would probably love the ee/polish mix- I assume it's crested? he thinks they are so cool looking! So many cool chickens... NOT enough room to get them all!

The Southern CT/ Westchester Backyard Poultry Meetup is going to have a chicken booth at the Greenwich Audubon's HawkWatch and Green Bazaar this coming weekend Sept 19th and 20th from 11AM to 5PM each day.
I am actually looking for anyone who wants to sell their eggs (organic preferred) or wholesale them to me for resale from the booth.
check out our page at www.meetup.com/chickens1
and
the even page here: http://greenwich.audubon.org/Programs_SpecialEvents.html

If
anyone wants to help or come and sell eggs, please contact me at [email protected]
It will also be a good opportunity to swap birds though you wont be able to do it on the grounds of the Audubon, so if people are interested in some sort of an auxiliary meeting, let me know and I will try to get space somewhere that it is OK to swap birds. I am bringing my birds but I think that they are the only ones that are going to be there besides the fancy predators that they have and bring from their other facilities.

I will post more about this during the coming week...Im just scrambling to get ready.
