i do both, i hatch and i buy, i like to get the pullets from the hatchery to sell and raise.

i havent heard the insurance thing.

Are you aware of the up coming Chickenstock on the 22 of this month? If you have the time you should visit the goings on in Milford,NH at the TSC. You may not want to buy at that point in time, but its great to meet those from this site, its neat to grow and learn from others.
