New Englanders! Much ado about New England!

Call all your Agway stores.
Most get chicks in the spring.
Its a great way to get people into their store and spending cash for poultry supplies and feed.

What town are you in ?

The more rural you are the more chance that even some old hardware stores will be selling chicks.

Here is the January edition of the AgReview which has a listing of livestock & poultry for sale in the entire state.
Also has a litter of Maremma livestock guardian dogs as well.
Comes out every 2 weeks.

How many of you Vermonters get the AgReview delivered?

Enjoy

Does anyone know if there are any Vermont swaps coming up?

I apologize if this has been covered - I might have missed it in reading through the thread...

Hey folks, after a long ride for 2 turkeys, gobbling up the turnpike, I 95 Maine, several stops for water breaks - and water spills, we finally have two beautiful Narragansett Turkeys from Othala Acres, Lily and hubby were super nice folks! I wish we had more time to visit, but me running tight on time and they were super kind to help us out the way that they have, we really appreciate their versatile plans!
I'll tell ya, these 2 birds are lively, healthy and going to be a learning experience! LOL
So when you see Lily, smile, she has some neat information rattling around in that lively mind!

i am on the seacoast on nh, so that is a bit far, but you could do it, just ask your local feed store or such if it is ok, post ads, on craigslist, here and at local feed stores. its easy enough to do,

tony what do you think? too far???
