I have to get grain on Friday and will ask them about it and post. I'll also check my list of poultry breeders from the Mass Agricultural Dept.

How much is it gonna be this time?

Oh, for pete's sake, people, get a grip, you live in New England. I know it's a shock to many, but it snows in February in New England. Really, it does! Sometimes in March, too! We have to get through February, then endure March, and then get teased for most of April before we'll have a real break from all this. But remember May 10, 1977, we got six inches and then ice!

I have been in NE all my life, I know it snows...I was in Rockport for the blizzzard of 78, what an experience that was! My comment was more on the fact that I'm a school teacher and we are going into July!!!

Reinbeau...would you rather have us *itching about the weather or you!

(just kidding)

I work hard all fall canceling winter, then it happens and I will still live in the same type of denial until December, then I accept it.

its just cabin fever time, I know I'm itching to get that incubator out, work on the broiler pen and all that stuff, but I have to climb over those dang snow bankings. Not only that, but the birds are about 3 months away and the turkey's have not begun laying.
One bonus, seeds are on their way...time to plant the peppers and egg plants!

(Plus up here in the Mountains/foothills we are not going to get any snow- how lucky is that!)
