New Englanders! Much ado about New England!

we would also be selling birds, as we do at all the swaps.

maine poultry association,interesting, i have been searching for maine poultry groups for ever and havent found any, great info, contact them they may do swaps already and would know who what where when etc

we in milford will be having a bit of food for sale, drinks, coffe soda water
muffins donuts pizza, like that,

we are doing a funky chicken contest where people who are there can vote, anyone can enter a bird.

we also have some things for raffle, however some say you need to be non profit, so we are either going with door prizes, or giving to a 4h group that attends.

other than that, usually at a swap people pull into a parking lot or field, set out what they have for sale or to just show people, pull up a chair and people walk by ask questions, buy sell trade talk etc,,its alot of fun

Well, if someone wants to put in the action of finding another area, please feel free to do so. I took it upon myself to look into places because everyone has just been talking and not inquireing.
If those people further up in Maine want it there, by all means, I would love to have someone else take the show. I have gone through the actions of inquiring @ Oxford County Fair grounds, and that was a negative due to cost etc.
The Gray wildlife park is family orientated, we can get close ups of Raptors, bear, deer etc. Potties, etc. They do have a large area that is for education and large functions.
Granted Gray is 45 min from me, but its also directly available to those coming from Mass, Ct, Vt, RI, NH, ME, that are supposed to be "New England".
I get into crowds and have a serious issue with Social Anxiety, that is one of the many reasons I don't want to host this, its not something I'd be able to do, joining in would be more then enough for me.

It would be great too, now I know where it is. Was the poultry show , goats and horse pulls common at that fair? I mean was it a whole event or just happened that way with the 4-H groups?
I posted quite a few photos and lots more, if there is something you want, ask, perhaps we snapped a photo.

once we find a place i am more than willing to help out with everything else.
hey, windsor fall show is held by a chicken group need to remember which it was, they would more than likely be willing .

wow is all i can come up with, even seeing him in person was like wow, he is amazing, those pics are great,that is too funny alot of us were there but didnt realize it.

do you happen to know the thread that has posted pics of this show on it? i search as much as i can take and have found nothing,thanks and thanks for posting those
