New feed at Walmart - Any thoughts?

You should read the reviews...."My rooster loves this stuff"...
I thought feed had to meet certain criteria to be sold as layer, raiser etc?
Apparently not. My chickens love disgusting bugs and snakes, but I’m not going to try to market that 🤮

That makes it sound superb! My hens would DEMAND it! :thumbsup

Crazy, but I'm thinking that maybe the 13% is an error. I took a look at their product line and their chick starter is 21% protein and their normal layer pellets and crumbles are 17% protein. And, the "Super Egg" brand has a little splash on the top of the nutrition label that says "16% Layer Pellet." Given that soybean meal is the second ingredient, I'm thinking that it is really 16% and the 13% in the nutritional profile is a mistake they haven't sorted out yet. At least I hope so.

If they did misprint the bag, they need to initiate a recall.
