When I switch back and forth, I always mix the pellets in with the last of the crumbles. Seems to let them know that "hey this is food too"




Unfortunately TSC was out of Flock Raiser, Game Bird food crumbles, Startena, AND Dumor Starter . . . . . so I had to get Dumor 15% grower to keep the chicks from starving --- and well it only comes in pellets but they usually eat crumbles. Oh well, they are piggy and seem to have gotten over their initial "shock" coz the pan was empty tonight

I feed my chickens pellets. Change does mess them up, though. I fed them abunch of scrambled eggs a few days ago and they didn't lay very good ... I think that messed them up.
