So he isn't the friendliest bird in the bunch, but I have gotten a fairly close look at his legs. They don't look any different than the other birds, but maybe they all need it. They were living in some pretty disgusting conditions before we got them. My wife and I started referring to it as operation chicken rescue and I overhauled their coup as soon as we got it home. No roosting bars whatsoever, crowded, filthy litter, all factors i imagine that contribute to leg mites and other stuff. I think they had a real hard molt, or they were just losing feathers from stress, not experienced to be sure. I guess i don't know what I'm looking for to determine if there are leg mites.
