The stepping between them was a good move(haha!) breaks up the tension and gets them used to you be being among them.

Fake eggs in nests? Hopefully they find the nests soon......put a bucket in that corner for discouragement if they continue to lay there.

I did put one of the eggs in one of the nesting boxes for a bit. I will try the fake ones.
Good idea about the bucket. We will see what tomorrow brings.
I reinforced the door today. It was good before but I lost some sleep worrying about them. Now it would take Bigfoot to get in there!
