New flock members!

I just brought 4 baby chicks home to eventually join my Fluff Bottomed Girls in the big coop. They're Red Star, so I'm excited to see what they'll grow up to look like. 😍 My others are a barnyard mix of Easter Eggers, Leghorn, and Barred Rock parents. I hope these all turn out to be pullets (90% chance).

Yep, although they will outgrow it fast, knowing from using the same brooder method. Keep us updated!! 🤗❤️🐔

Will do! The last time we used a large dog crate and it was such a mess. I'll have to figure out a better set up when they get big enough to jump out.

Oh yeah, it might be bigger but so messy. 😑
