new foods you have tried?

Well the only sushi I have seen is in Memphis, and I won't even go there....I can't get past the whole idea of it anyway. Tennessee is fairly limited on variety of foods. I've seen Pomegranate ONE WHOLE time around here in my tiny town! LOL!

That's quite interesting, I do like small towns though, the way my life is going it'll be a normal city for me;)

I think you mean the fact it is raw....all sushi does not have raw fish in it.

Try it sometime if that is what bothers you about it ask what sushi rolls don't have raw fish in it try that first then maybe later you would want to try some other kind?

I liked wasabi peas.
I add tender catcus(pickled I guess) to my omlette.
Sweet miso.
Dandy blend dandilion tea.
Black jewel black popcorn.
Add ume paste to any sort of veggie I steam or stir fry.
Kefir cream(like cream cheese but with probiotics!) and agave syrup on toasted bread or plain rice cakes.
Various flavors of drinable lifeway kefir.
Ground cherrys are a fruit I grew last year that grows quickly on plants.I loved snacking on these, and was please no one liked them enough to take any of the limited supply from me!
I liked various seaweeds.Mostly I would just add the seaweed to hatcho miso.

Sometimes when we would order stuff online we would get a lot of packaged food from various countries.Rarely I find things locally.I did however find and like seaweed wrapped rice crackers.
Red cabbage and apples.
I got pickles yesterday that were from Russia and they were pretty good.
I liked peanut satay sauce with noodles. Not at first, but later the spicey sauce grew on me.
I came across some canned stuffed grape leaves.Veggie version. Not as good as the homemade one,but certainly good in a pinch.

All I can say is.... beer, beer, beer going for a beer, beer ,beer, going to drink some beer,I like drinking beer lovely, lovely beer:)

I think this is quite a random thread

Well the only problem with trying new food is what if you don't like it and waste the $$

, but in general I like to try new food , but it has not to be spicy or uncooked like sea food.

I really want to try guinny pig but I can't really afford to travel like that! Of course the still moving seafood that I have seen on the net would send be into a new form of what has been seen can't be unseen! Pickled pigs feet doesn't look good but I bet it is
