new foster mama cat and her babies...now just the babies:-(

mostly yes, I find little poops on the rug I have next to the litterbox. They were fed at 2:30 but hadn't gone by 3:10 so I did wipe them with a warm wet paper towel and plopped them in the litter box and 2 stayed and used it.
I wish I sure who is using it and who isn't...who is pooping beside the box and who is going inside it.... I have the crate covered by a blanket to avoid any drafts, and also to keep them from squeezing out between the slats on the crate (It's a big black metal type crate for a HUGE dog.)

as of today, there were no accidents outside of their litter box. They must be having a growth spurt too- they've been eating every 3-4 hrs all day. This is the longest stretch now for 3 of them- it's 4 1/2 hrs..

I offered a saucer of 'Science Diet" soft loaf with their kitten replacer milk dribbled over it and around it...2 dug into it at last night's dinner while the other 2 still wanted me to feed them with the syringe. This morning, those 2 dug into a new plate of the food with milk on top, while last night's big eaters wouldn't touch it and just sat there crying for me to pick them up and hand feed them. That is the only way they'd eat...
Never having done this before, I suppose it goes like that... in fits and spurts...until at 6 wks old, hopefully all 4 will be eating with gusto from a dish of food.
Please excuse the messy towels they are on...the minute they went into the box, they walked on the food and tracked it all over. I wash the towels after every meal. (I have lots of extra dish towels.)
Meet (clockwise from the one eating...) Shadow (male), Hera (female), Baby (female), Mo (female)
