Hi All,

I live in the Norman/Noble area of Oklahoma.  We've had chickens for about a year.  I currently have 3 adults; a Red Sex-Link hen, Buff Orpington Rooster, and a hen that looks like a Brown Leghorn with black legs (currently in a giant dog kennel with 3 babies).   We also have 8 teenagers we bought at Atwoods from the pullet bin (3 young roos which need to go included).

I have been lurking on the site gleaning lots of info for a while, but I have a question about adding a newly hatched chick to my hen's brood, so I will be posting that momentarily.  Everyone seems very nice and so helpful!

Welcome, I live in N Edmond, Ok I have guineas went from 15 to about 50 in one season, and I have peafowl. I don't have chickens. They don't mix well with peafowl.

Hello Margaret8. :) I have 15 RiRs 4 bourbon red turkeys, 12 guineas, a barred rock, 3 Gold Buffs, 3 Gorgeous golden mixes, a sumatran, and a saipan jungle fowl.

I am looking for a Blue or black breeding trío of silkies for my daughters birthday, and and EE or any other colored egg laying hen for my nephew gus. And I plan to try and hatch some Basques in the spring. :)

What all do you have?

I have guineas and peafowl. I started out with 15 guineas to eat the bugs and I now have 46 a year later! I have an IBBS male peacock and an IB hen. I also have 2 BS hens and 1 BS male. They are all peas.
