New from Eastern NC

Hey ya'll! I'm a new chicken mom since last Saturday when we brought our 1 month old chicks and 1 week old guinea keets home. The keets are in the house but the chicks are out in the coop and seem to be very happy. They love the windows! We are living in the country on a small farm (first time, I'm a city gal) and are loving it. We (darling husband, grown son and I) put in a good sized garden. Have been fixing up the 150 yr old farm house, the g-I-normus magnolia tree (150 yrs old) is blooming and smells awesome.

Anyone else from eastern NC on here?
