Hi, Aaron and Tina, welcome! So how many chickens are you expecting and what kinds? Have you ever had chickens before?

We've never had chickens before, so this is really a happy time for us and our 3 small children. We have 5 of each breeds: Black Australorp, Sapphire Gem, and Dixie Rainbow. (my brother is taking 5 and we are keeping 10)

What fun! We love our Black Australorps. They are calm and cheerful. I have not had the other breeds you mention. Mostly I have had Easter Eggers (love them green/ blue eggs!). We love pictures here and would love to see your chickies when you get a chance to post them!
